2019 Teddy Ball Host

Cj has been in the banking, finance and real estate industry for over 28 years from Los Angeles and has now made San Diego his home for over 13 years now. He is proud to have earned his 'daddy stripe' with a daughter being a senior in college earning her degree in Marketing management. His greatest achievement has been raising an incredible human being and daughter Aleah, who cares about important causes and is engaged in helping others as well where she lives in Los Angeles.

“Find a way to help others”

His focus and philosophy in life has always been to 'find a way to help others'. Whether it was managing, coaching and mentoring professionals like himself or giving of himself to non profit causes, Cj just loves to make peoples lives better. He has earned numerous awards professionally as an industry leader, public speaker, advisor and mentor on many levels for his hard work and dedication helping his clients achieve personal and financial success at their craft and passion. Although his career is his passion, Cj finds the greatest rewards helping others who need help in life. Giving of himself started at a very early age as a young boy being taught to give of himself without monetary reward through his ministry work by helping those who needed encouragement and help to regain focus, passion and hope for life. He later went on to serve 10 years of his life as an ordained minister while maintaining his professional career. He also enjoys personal coaching those who need help working their way through challenging times in life due to difficult transitions, life events, and abusive relationships.

Over the years he has donated 1000's of hours to teach and mentor as it expanded beyond the ministry to include helping teenagers, young children, babies and the elderly through his non profit work in organizations such as March of dimes, junior achievement, Children's International and has quickly developed a passion for helping the homeless and is working on a plan to help those who truly need help escape that dire circumstance. He also is actively involved with HEART, an organization that helps those who desperately need help and rescue from disasters. In 2016 he was blessed to be able to help the residents of Haiti where he stayed at an orphanage doing rescue and relief work there after the devastating hurricane. One of the most rewarding but dangerous events in his life. For Cj, living by the motto of 'find a way to help others' has truly enriched his life, more than he could've ever imagined. He feels truly blessed to be able to help others!
