In 1985 he changed the company name to Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc., and to this day, he continues to play an active role in the company’s success.

Originally from Chicago, IL, Bill Howe joined the Air Force in 1971 and worked as a carpenter during his four year term while also attending Minot State University in North Dakota. Bill moved to Los Angeles and pursued a plumbing career working for a small company while also attending plumbing school at LA Trade Tech and business school at Pasadena City College. In 1980, Bill moved to San Diego to start his own company and worked in the field for Bill Howe Plumbing, Inc. for 10 years before retiring from the field and committing full time to developing the business and working with experts in other industries including heating, air conditioning and restoration to allow the company to grow. In 2007, Bill Howe officially expanded the company and opened Bill Howe Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. In 2009 Bill Howe Restoration & Flood Services created another opportunity to offer his customers a one-stop-shop for all of their property needs.

Prior to that, Bill Howe served on the Board of Directors from 2005-2006 and as the Treasurer for the 2011-2012 term.

Throughout his career, not only has Bill Howe worked to develop relationships with other owners in the industry but he’s also been passionate about helping young adults who are interested in entering the field. Bill Howe has been an active supporter of San Diego Job Corps’ Plumbing Program as well as the Andrew Chapman Mentorship Program, a program dedicated to providing a comprehensive mentoring program of job training and skill development to assist troubled youth in Southeast San Diego and help them become productive and independent individuals.
